Your privacy

Some things are yours to hold.

Recall is designed to minimize unnecessary exposure of personal reflections. Different features store and process information differently, so we explain the choices where they matter.

Your writing.

Readable text reflections, drafts, titles, and personal notes stay on your device by default. The Bible-first text journey uses on-device Scripture matching. Where an optional retrieval feature sends a representation of an entry, that representation is treated as sensitive data; it is not included in marketing analytics or public responses.

Your voice.

Standard voice journals use authenticated upload, encrypted cloud audio storage, and server transcription. The transcript is encrypted backend data and may be cached on your device. Your original recording remains on your phone until the cloud upload has been verified. This service is not entirely on-device or zero-knowledge.

Your choices.

Optional cloud generative AI requires explicit permission. Readable text is not sent to generative AI by default. Choosing a church does not share your identity, entries, or inferred struggles with that church. Church participation and sermon features are optional and deferred from the current Bible-first experience.

The waitlist collects your email, optional signup details, consent, and signup attribution so Recall can contact you about the beta and launch. The waitlist stores these details with your consent time. It never includes journal text, transcripts, audio, prayer content, or private reflections.

You can unsubscribe from beta and launch email at any time. For questions, contact [email protected]. Please do not send private reflections by email.
